In late April we received an enquiry to supply 595 tripod mounted masts to support 3 cameras on each for security and monitoring movement of the public during the games. Following a visit from the customer it was established that our existing systems were not suitable for this application. Our design and fabrication team listened to their specific requirements and in 2 days our team had redesigned a system that overcame and in fact exceeded the customer’s needs. In early May and following the customers product approval we received the order. All 595 systems have to be built and delivered to 16 locations starting from mid June to mid July. We have to accomplish this amongst out usual and increasing order flow. We have employed extra staff and streamlined production to ensure we can meet the production and delivery of over 780 systems before mid July.
