We’ve recently delivered 14 masts and associated accessories to a customer on the South coast.
This set of masts is to be used to monitor bats’ movement and analyse ways to protect this endangered species across roadways.
In the past, we’ve provided portable masts for similar bat monitoring. This was in an area where wind turbines could impact the bats’ natural habitat.
The data gathered can be invaluable in choosing an alternative location for the turbines. There are over 1200 different types of bats, and they all interact with us in their ways. Hence the need to protect them.
